About 8 metres if landed where it should be. But on this photo it's about 11-12 metres because I overshot it that time.

That suond was on compression, not while bottoming. First I thought that it's because of frame design (Big Hit 04, it has a large monocoque and I thought it could strenghthen the sound from spv valve). But it most likely was because of loosen bolt that holds shaft into the shock's body. That bolt broke apart during rebound which resulted into loss of damping and "ejector seat". So, guys, get your shocks serviced right and regularly and you'll not have any problems.

Sorry but it is. But this shock took so much of abuse that it wasn't very big surprise for me that it blew up. Besides it had a strange knocking sound from the very beginning. So it's partly my fault because i didn't service it at all.

Because I didn't hit the tree with it. That's why my wheel is the only ruined part. If I had hit that tree with my fork everything would have been worse (fork/frame).

 Monsters (continue to) rule. Smile
I ejected my bike just as it hit that damned tree. Also my front wheel was very weak before the jump, some spokes weren't tightened at all. That has played big role in saving my fork and frame.

Bike is OK. Frame and fork are alive and that's the main thing.
I'm thinking about upgrading my rear shock from Manitou Swinger 4-way to Fox DHX 5.0. What do you think about its blowing-up-resistance?

It's about 7-8 meters (23-26 feet). But it's not about the height if to speak about this drop. It's all about that freakin' tree in the center of the transition (see other photos where you will see what happens if you hit it) and the road down there.
If you're interested in a height then go here
